HOW TO ANSWER A PHONE CALL, SAY YOUR PHONE NUMBER, AND EMAIL IN SPANISH

How do you answer a phone call or make a phone call in Spanish? What is the secret word?

To answer a phone call in English language we say “Hello”?

Then in Spanish how do we say it?

Guess! Is it hola?

 As a non-native speaker, one must be tempted to say “hola!” since whenever we think about it, that’s the closest thing to Hello. But surprisingly that’s not it!

   There are several ways to answer a phone call in Spanish-speaking countries.

¿Aló? Is used in many places.

In Mexico, it is typical to say ¿Bueno?

In Spain, you will hear ¿Dígame?

In certain Colombian locations, people say ¿A la orden?

How do I say my phone number in Spanish?

¿Cuál es tu número de teléfono?  What is your phone number?

Mi número de teléfono es : 081 368 554 01 (cero, ochenta y uno, treinta y seis, ochenta y cinco, cincuenta y cuatro, cero, uno) 

Mi número de móvil es 554 78 56 01 (cinco, cincuenta y cuatro, setenta y ocho, cincuenta y seis, cero, uno) 

There is no formula for calling out your phone number, I think one should call it as he /she likes. (Some like grouping it while others just say it one after the other)

¿Cuál es tu correo electrónico? What is your email address?

Mi correo electrónico es lorettamsj@gmail.com
